GEO CHAIN
1) put a large steel post in the middle of a desert. 2) attach a long chain to it. as long as you can get. 3) pull the chain to the east. 4) invite people to add lengths to the chain until it goes around the world. 5) phase 2 - a pilgrimmage along the length of the chain
